Weekend fun!

This weekend was the Daddy/Daughter Dance at the girl's school. For the first time I got to help out and it was so much fun! Of course, my camera batteries died after just a few shots (do they ever go out at a convenient time??) so I don't have alot to show for it. Here is a picture of wrist corsages and the plate of butterfly cookies (such girly fun! :)









In other news, we are planning on painting our kitchen tomorrow so I need to take everything on the walls down, dust the tops of cabinets (ugh, it's been awhile!!) and generally get the prep done. We're also painting the inside of the pantry and then my wonderful hubby is installing new shelves and more of them for better usage. (I will get to dedicate one entire shelf to all things baking - yeah!!)

So enough sitting around, I've got to get to work!!
