The kids obviously built a very cute snowman, they drank hot cocoa and watched Netflix, they played with friends........
And I barely left the kitchen all day. I worked on cupcakes and a cake for my father-in-law's birthday, whipped up kid friendly meals (and by kid-friendly I mean anything that was an orange color not found in nature - mac and cheese/crispy chicken), then baked up a few sugar cookies for a neighborhood get together later.
I learned this trick from this savvy cookie girl - cut out your just baked cookies right from the oven and they will all be uniform.
