So, my tip of the day is this:
If you happen to have a family member with a birthday near Christmas, take a break from all things December and make one day be about their birthday. Especially if this particular family member is a "birthday person." You can spot them from a mile away. They start talking about their special day 6 months ahead of time, have their lists ready 5 months before, and have planned their birthday
The January one is fairly easy - everything about Christmas is wrapped up, (pun intended) and the New Year has already been celebrated the weekend before.
But two weeks before Christmas?!?!? A little crazy. So Friday through Sunday, I halted all baking, wrapping, shopping, and general holiday merriment to celebrate this sweet girl. There's always Monday for a fresh start, right???
Happy Birthday, sweet Peyton. We are so blessed every day by your sweet presence. Looking forward to seeing what this next year holds as you finish middle school and start high school! You are a daily joy.
