Yesterday was my Mom's 60th birthday. Some mothers her age would view this as a good time to go on a trip, or to a spa or lunch with girlfriends. Know what my Mom did?? She babysat 2 of my 3 kids for 9 hours, driving one home from pre-school and taking another one to a birthday party (not for her!) in the afternoon. All so I could go out with my oldest daughter and shop and go to lunch with friends! I'm so, so, so very blessed to have my Mom in my life. She LOVES being a Grandma and is my biggest cheerleader in life. Happy Birthday, Mom - our lives are richer for all your wonderful years
