You write a blog post about how organized you're planning to be, and how much you can get done ahead of time and you even take a picture of it.......



And 6 hours later, when you go to turn off the lights for the evening, you find that nicely wrapped sugar cookie dough still sitting there on the dining room table - all nice and room-temperature like.

Oh well, back to square one.

On a separate note, I have no other children other than my youngest in my care this morning, so I'm taking a "day off" approach and planning to go do something fun! The bathrooms probably won't get cleaned and the beds might stay unmade - but hoping to make some fun memories that will last way longer than a clean house ever would.
