Today, I'm trying to be thankful for braces and expanders. I know there are many who, for many reasons, are not able to have these devices.
But being thankful the day those metal contraptions are installed, for lack of a better term, is enough to make a mama want to pull her hair out.
And I imagine it's not any better for the kiddos.
So, I will be thankful for the extra snuggles, the time to comfort the afflicted child, lots of time to sit and watch TV together and the thought that one day, though it seems far away now, those straight, even teeth will be SO worth it!
