Well, I had a to-do list plotted out and was checking it off until.....
One of my kiddos stayed home due to a cold.
So, the errands and cleaning have been replaced by a movie and snuggle time, board games, and if we are really feeling ambitious, Play-Doh.
All in all, I think it's a pretty decent trade.
With the exception of missing out on a walking date and a meet-up for coffee, I'm slightly relieved at the slow down to the start of what will be a busy week. There may or may not even be some planned dozing off for the grown-up in charge.
And completely off topic, we just discovered this morning how fantastic Trader Joe's "This Pumpkin Walks Into a Bar" bars are. Delish...proceed immediately to your nearest TJ's.
